SEC has been a great success for the city of Glasgow, attracting around 2m visitors per annum and creating significant economic and social benefit.
SEC has exciting development plans to modernize and expand the facilities, including a dedicated high-end conference centre and energy centre to move the campus towards net zero carbon. A new campus hotel is proposed to complement the venues and provide a conference headquarters hotel.
AR Hospitality Consulting has been retained as SEC’s hotel advisor, providing a Feasibility Study and Business Case, including operator, brand and funding advice to support this very exciting development for the city.
